Automatic Refresh A — Direct Refresh

• We create a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to your PowerPivot data source(s) on your existing corporate network.
• You author your workbook on your desktops against those data sources, then upload them to your PowerPivot site.
• Your workbooks automatically pull the latest data from the data sources on your network, on a schedule you specify.

• Best option for updating larger quantities of data, such as those exceeding 25 Million rows.
• We create a VPN connection to replicate your SQL Server* database to a private “mirror” database in our hosting environment.

• We provide you with one or more authoring workstations in our hosting environment to create your PowerPivot workbooks.
